For many years, the study of human knee lubrication is the subject of scientific research by both engineers and orthopaedic surgeons in biomechanics, because of its importance in the human body without forgetting the actions it undergoes during the various movements of the body, in particular that of the locomotion.
The squeeze film lubrication mechanism in the human knee using synovial fluid as lubricant and bone cartilage as mechanical bearings is ubiquitous in many engineering applications such as artificial joints (prostheses), gears, bearings in rotating and reciprocating machinery

لسنوات عديدة ، اجتذبت مفصل الفخذ في الركبة البشرية اهتمام الباحثين في مجال الميكانيكا الحيوية والأطباء ، وقبل كل شيء ، مصممي الأطراف الاصطناعية بسبب موقعها الاستراتيجي بين الورك والكاحل والإجراءات التي يخضع لها في نفس الوقت. مسار الحركات المتنوعة للغاية للجسم ، ولا سيما حركة الحركة ، وكذلك حركة عبور العقبات دون أن ننسى بوضوح الحركات الرياضية (ألعاب القوى ، رفع الأثقال ، ...).

L’articulation fémoro-tibiale du genou humain suscite depuis de nombreuses années l’intérêt des chercheurs en biomécanique, des cliniciens et surtout des concepteurs de prothèses en raison de sa situation stratégique entre la hanche et la cheville et des actions qu’elle subit au cours des mouvements très variés du corps, notamment celui de la locomotion et plus encore celui du franchissement des obstacles sans oublier évidemment les mouvements sportifs (athlétisme, haltérophilie, …).
